NEW THIS YEAR – DORA
Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area
The Harbor Centre Business Improvement District (BID) worked with the City of Sheboygan for a temporary DORA (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area) that is in effect for ten Tuesday evenings during the 8th Streatery event this Summer.
We want our community to enjoy DORA and contribute to the positive impact it will have in downtown Sheboygan. Find information and resources on this webpage about 8th Streatery and DORA by scrolling below.

Great! Head to one of our participating licensed establishments.
#2 - Purchase Your Favorite Beverage
Whether you’re enjoying beer, wine, or a cocktail, your drink will be served in a plastic cup or can—never glass—and labeled with an official DORA sticker.
#3 - Enjoy Responsibly
Sip, stroll, and soak it all in—take your drink to go and enjoy live music, pop into shops, or relax at a table as you explore the event.
Know the rules:
- DORA hours are Tuesdays from 5:00-8:00 PM on June 10, June 17, June 24, July 1, July 8, July 15, July 22, July 29, August 5 and August 12.
- Patrons must be 21+ to purchase or consume alcohol.
- DORA beverages should only be purchased from participating liquor establishments.
- No carry ins.
- Stay inside the DORA boundaries. No beverages may be carried outside of the mapped boundaries. (See map below.)
- Beverages may not be carried from one establishment into another. Once a customer exits with a drink, they may not enter another business with that beverage.
- DORA beverages must be in unbreakable transparent or semi-transparent cups or their original unbreakable containers.
- Do not drink and drive – all regular beverage consumption and operating laws apply.
- Safety laws are enforced! Enjoy the DORA responsibly, be respectful of residents and businesses.
